The biased moderation on that site is just as bad as reddit but you'll never hear about it because normies who don't use the site act like it's a bastion of free speech and unironically believe cringe videos like this
In actuality 4chan has been getting progressively more and more cucked each year. The main cause outside of tourists from reddit? Jannies. Jannies on 4chan will nuke every single post that
A. Criticizes the political left
B. Criticizes progressivism
Now I wouldn't take issue with them doing this on non political boards if not for the fact that there's blatant double standards. Posts that criticize the political right or promote progressivism are allowed to stay up on non political boards with 0 punishment.
The worst example of this is probably the constant flood of posts attacking some random anti woke e celeb known as grummz on v. They're very obviously astroturfed. Anyone with the ability to recognize simple patterns can see this. However despite that jannies don't nuke them. On the opposite end of the spectrum if someone criticizes a Kotaku writer like let's say Alyssa Merchant they'll get banned and their post deleted.
This plagues the entire site too. It's not just v. I was banned from r9k which is supposedly free speech outside of selfies because I argued with a bitch over abortion and repealing the 19th amendment.
Because of this ridiculous moderation every board has become insufferable constant leftie tranny sperging. I wish there was a good active alternative because I do like how 4chan operates. Having your threads deleted after awhile so you don't have to worry about responding to a million replies if you don't think about it is nice. It's just a shame what's happened to it
