"Thank you," the KGB says. "We do our best but truly, it's nothing compared to American propaganda. Your people believe everything your state media tells them."

The CIA agent drops his drink in shock and disgust. "Thank you friend, but you must be confused... There's no propaganda in America."

As if this doesn't hold true in Russia, too. However, more privileged Russians who know their government is full of shit fled the country a long time ago. Of course, there are people who are either poor or live in circumstances where fleeing the country isn't an option. I know this from browsing Russian imageboards.
