I don't think there are aliens in the vicinity. I think that, if aliens existed that have been alive for longer than us in any corner of the universe, they'd have been replaced by the robots that they built. Since robots aren't destroying planets as far as we know, I don't think aliens exist. If that is so, then, of the loneliest species in the universe, then I too, am alone.

Besides, you would think someone would put a killswitch or have a Plan B if the AI Malfunctions.

But if we can't regress it we should build Augmentations like in Deus Ex so we could reach a new level of Strength for each Man.

Mechs, mobile tanks, automated sentries (already exist) they could really change the Game.
