Even something like a gaming buddy will try to compete with you on the leaderboard. I don't think a male friendship thats not based on competition is even possible.

If you don't have a dominance stance with them they will walk all over you and insult you etc. constantly even if you ignore. If you fight back then they will switch to a negociating, but it won't feel like a genuine thing.

I've concluded that theres no way to really be fully friends with another male given there will always be a competition based on dominance. I don't think male friendships in their fullest sense really exist.
