Media still depicts bullies as tall, muscular jocks that push you into lockers and give you swirlies and wedgies when the reality of bullying in the twenty-first century couldn't be more different.

All my bullies were weirdos. Intelligent, nerdy, albeit still popular and social kids who liked mainstream anime ganging up on the kid with autism. Some of them were even gay for fucks sake. The truly well-adjusted, confident, sporty kids were either kind or indifferent. It was impossible to defend myself in any way because it never got physical.

It really sucks how I still have to deal with low self-esteem to this day while they moved on with their lives and forgot about what they did to me. None of them are super successful or anything, but they seem to be doing okay.

There were kids even lower than me believe it or not. I'm thinking I should have fucked with them a little to build some confidence. Making fun of others is how normies develop self-esteem.
