during his second term Brezhnev, Andropov and Chernenko died one after another in that order, it was a sign of advanced gerontocracy that resulted in the ussr's inability to keep up with modernisation which ended poorly for them, fast forward to 2024 and today it is America that faces a similar problem both Biden and Trump belong in retirement home they're not suitable to run a country that aspires to remain a sole hegemonic power yet somehow they're the only candidates

about a month ago it became apparent the dems want to ditch biden for a younger candidate, wont be kamala because she has no juice.

im hearing newsom but 'governor of california' isnt as marketable now as it was in 1980. i hope they keep biden going because i enjoy the trump/biden rivalry its boomerkino
