Synopsis( minor episode 1 spoilers) : In the purgatory between life and afterlife, the souls of the dead are judged by "Arbiters", by making them play club games in a bar but with a twist. One such Arbiter is Quindecim who finds himself taking in a girl as an assistant.
Positives: Definitely high budget with a good technical team behind it. Artstyle is good to look at, the animation is beautiful and it has some great Artistic choices. Overall competently made. Also how the player's stories unravel during the games is a neat concept. That way there's always a sense of mystery and tention
Negatives : Some of the themes and message of the story went over my head. Maybe its partially because the themes in anime (in general) are juvenile "iam14andthisisdeep" tier unrelatable cringe and partially because of language issues. I'm sure the heavier dialogues made way more sense in Japanese.
Overall verdict: The good thing is that the anime is short and doesn't overstay its welcome. And hence packs enough of a punch. A good 12 episodes that are entertaining enough while they last
