Discussion Anyone else get manic?

I think it was brought on by the new environment (I'm in a nature reserve in Nicaragua) + Adderall, although I didn't take much, it's said to occur due to D2/D3 agonism. Also sleep deprivation. What causes mania the most reliably for you?

My mom suffers from manic episodes. I have some family members who suffer from psychosis and schizophrenia. I don't, I think I'm the only neurotypical. My father has undiagnosed Aspergers. In fact, I'm mentally sane. Well, I think I'm neurotypical but average in everything else.

I'm grateful I'm mentally sane, I don't suffer from any mental illnesses. I think I'm a good person.

I've fapped unironically like 10x today and have been up 36 hours+ but don't feel the slightest tired, even though the addies should've worn off a loooong time ago. It's a weird state to be in, wonder what the evolutionary advantage is of it.

I think i get euphoric but not manic when i do something productive like studying for a whole day. It lasts like an hour or two max so its not long enough to be mania

I also suffer from restless nights, but when the sleep comes, I'm grateful for it. When you fall asleep, it feels like you teleport forward 5 hours later, just like in a videogame.

i havent fapped for 2 weeks it's the opioids im also on some amphetamine right now for no reason. i took tramadol earlier today for pain relief hope it doesnt turn into serotonin syndrome.

Where do you get amphetamine from? I wonder how my classmates back in high school got marijuana. When I imagine a drug dealer, I think about a tall black man with dreadlocks and big muscles with baggy clothes or basketball tank top.

Psychiatrists prescribe it freely, exaggerate symptoms and larp that you're going to use it to wagie and they'll give you the biggest script possibly quickly. At least here in the USA.

I would advise against taking antipsychotics and antidepressants. SSRI withdrawals do not take weeks despite "science" claims... it's been one year already and not only I suffer from very fragmented sleep (never sleeping more than 4 hours, extremely tired coupled with cognitive decline), sometimes I don't even sleep at all... although I try not to think about it. Also, I suffer from full-blown anhedonia. No recovery so far, I'm hopeless.

I was bored and I thought it'd be fun. I have some videos of the reserve and the different breeds of monkies but it won't let me upload, maybe I'll upload it sometime later. I've learned a lot about their history (read a 400 page book and talked to the locals and googlefu'd), maybe I'll make a thread after I get back from the trip. They have a fascinating history and it's a pretty chill country for a third world country among the poorest in the world.

I think im just a maniac ngl everything I feel is just 10x as strong if I get sad ill probably have a noose around my neck or some razors pointed at my wrists then I'll think about video games then just play them or I'll jerk off I just have extreme highs n lows mostly highs tho I'm weirdly happy n giddy as of late like I just have an urge to hug everyone I see

i am manic right now ive been up for 36 hours whenever i have stress that causes sleep disturbances i have to go through mania to reset my circadian rythm i just took long walk and just thought about leg lengtehning surgery and the phrase "get looks or die trying get looks or die trying get looks or die trying repeating in my head"
