I think there’s a strong biological urge to belong. Herd animals have this too. I believe normies are just animals with vocal chords. What we call humans in the sense of inventing and building civilisation are really a tiny percentage of very gifted individuals, total outliers, who built step by step over the course of History. A nuclear winter or something would make all NPCs completely feral again.
