BasedSpace is seeing a surge in lurkers

It seems like a lot for a private forum. I’m not that worried about it tbh, but a few of my users have expressed concern. I wonder if the surge in lurkers has something to do with this.

Yeah, hopefully he’s well. I liked Robtical and I’ll always be grateful to him for giving me mod status there. After seeing how much the place died I could’ve easily stepped down too, but because there are still some good guys who are still loyal to that forum, I guess that was motivation for me to keep it alive.

Back in November we had one day of activity that was the most I had seen since I first joined in December 2022, because of some incels.in drama that led several users from there to join Based. Unfortunately we went back to being dead again the next day, but that activity boost was fun while it lasted.
