If you live in Burger Kingdom you know that cities are shit and the suburbs are boing as shit. Nothing but big corporate chains, fast food chains, stores everywhere, concrete everywhere. If you want to have fun, you don't. And you have to drive everywhere, nothing is personal anymore. When people tell you to get out more? Ok I will go for a walk, and all I see is a billion sidewalks in my neighborhood, wow I am so enlightened now!

So you stay inside then. You got an internet way past its prime to stare at. Reddit and Big Tech have consumed the internet and turned it into trash. So you head to refuge places for losers/outcasts like here. It's inactive. You go to .co, it's full of larpers, (and you get perma'd if you are named gigacel123) Gaming and fapping get old after awhile, and im poorcel anyways. On top of all this you don't even get any NEETbux. So I am just trapped in my room, with only myself to talk to and getting molested out of my mind on how awful reality is.

Only thing that somewhat lightens or brings hope to my mood, is to follow sad Youtubers. There is this guy who is paralyzed from waist down. He made videos about how does it feel to miss the feeling of his penis and all equally depressing stuff. Worst one was when he talked about his pet monkey. I agree, OP. I lived in nyc for many years, and it's a pretty miserable place. You get harassed on the streets and trains all the time, and people are everywhere. There are some fun things you can do a few times a year, like go to a book reading, some good art exhibitions, etc., but it's only a few times a year and doesn't really justify living in that hellhole. The city is full of despicable people, but there are still some cool people there, simply due to how populous it is, but they're hard to find. Most places you'd look for them is full of obnoxious pseudointellectuals.

Suburbs are total trash and filled with chains and NPCs.

Being a JapanNeet is better thean what you are describing but there are alot of places in Japan where it is just as Metropolis as any old city and just as depressing

1. the major train station
2. the city center, where all the stores/clubs/bars are
3. a bunch of different gyms
4. a bunch of different hobby clubs, i.e. bouldering, boxing, dancing, bowling, ...,
5. 2 different hospitals
6. multiple apothecaries, drugstores, supermarkets
7. various parks
8. 2 large theaters
9. a large cinema

probably more but this is just from the top off my head
