I find it hard to believe that I'm only two years removed from graduation, the first day of 8th grade only felt like a few months ago. Heck, even some days back in 2016 dont feel like it was near a decade ago (yes, 2016 was near a decade ago) which is shocking to digest.

I genuinely believe the reason time goes by so fast when we're adults is due to the fact we're not busy most of the time. (Well NEETS ofc) When we were in school it felt like ages we had to sit down and listen to the lectures and subjects are teachers gave us. As we grow up the days feel shorter because we occupy our brains with something we enjoy and in exchange receive dopamine from it.

Well our brains perceive time by how many events occur in a given time period so if it's flashing by it's because not much is going on. It might be worth trying to fill your life with more exciting and novel things.
