cancel culture is not a conspiracy, it's just people realising that listening to your foes is giving them power.
In this case the "foes" is everyone the "woke" disagree with.
They invented nothing and it's not a conspiracy, this is a form of censorship via boycott.
In history whenever a dictatorship arrive the first people they shut down are the intellectuals and creative of the left, in ussr when people came from outside the wall they would be listened to and as soon as they would talk about something "prohibited" people would just leave.
