You use to earn a lot of reactions just for posting any comment or thread in 2023 which would pump your ratio, if you cared for it.
I've noticed that the 2024 reaction market has gone down significantly.
The reason for this? I believe a mix of inactivity amongst user who use to react a lot as well as increased expectations from the audience to make their dopamine rush them to jerk off their feel good sensors.
Like take this thread for example:
-Over close to 20 responses, and 100 views and yet the OP received 0 reactions at all.
-The only replies to receive reactions were ones educating with charisma as well as some presenting a personalized opinion that others agreed with.
-This is key here because you will need to find what the majority of new users here find based in order to thrive here. Based opinion + charisma will score you some gold.
A reply in this thread got more because of the picks he responded with. Can you see which one?
-If you're not able to be based, it helps to be one of the first replies as when you get swallowed in replies, you set yourself up for failure because AttentionSpanpill is deadly.
There has also been a loss in many users here that have a halo such as @Disturbed1 @anon1822fourthacc @Neetgod @Fabio and etc..
Here is a list of people that were somewhat leading in terms of ratio that I mentioned above:
You still have people like @Copexodius Maximus and @IGiveUp to still somewhat hold the market up from completely collapsing.
My projections is that we will be dry for a bit considering that many new active users came clustering in during the end of 2023 and now early 2024.
We will be dry in the market with the older users who are phasing out and away from this website. It will take time for people to develop their halos and the market to hit a high again with members like @PointOfNoReturn rushing to like your thread the instant it comes out.
I'd give it until late 2024 in like november or december to even about 2025 march.
IF YOU CARE... about keeping a decent like/post ratio
I'd say the best thing to do is to be modest and slow on your post count this year until towards the end of the year unless you are confident that a thread or comment you're making will be one of mass laughter. I am talking like in terms of @Neetgod expose funny..
Start working on your halo and appealing to the new members here because they will be your audience for this upcoming generation of neet users. Find out what everyone likes, change your anime to your loli jb, and make funny but thought provoking threads very sparsely with that being the only posts you make.
I'd say to feed back into the market as well by reading a couple posts and reacting to them to not completely dry up the market like what's going on now..
or you could be like me and not care cause it's already over anyway, no noodle toilets for my face

Why are Christian so against masturbation but then they allow sex for the purpose of just having fun?
This makes no sense to me. So apparently, according to a Christian that I know, it's a sin to masturbate and watch porn, but according to them, sex with someone just for fun is totally cool as long as the two people are married. How does that make sense? It should be the other way around, should...
