While studying for a test today, I suddenly remembered a video I watched a few days ago—two Twitch streamers reacting to top hip-hop songs. One of them was a guest on the other’s main channel, and I thought I’d look up the video tomorrow to check the description for the guest’s name. Tomorrow would’ve been ideal, since my mom will be at work and I’d have the peace and quiet to enjoy watching videos without interruption.
But instead, I went ahead and searched for the video today, even though I was in the middle of studying. I hesitated for a moment, reminding myself I’d rather wait until tomorrow—but I went through with it anyway. As soon as I saw the guest’s name in the description, it hit me: I really would’ve preferred doing this tomorrow.
That feeling came back again when I followed the link to their Twitch page, and once more when I searched their name on YouTube and saw them featured with Kai Cenat. I kept thinking, “This could’ve waited.” I ended up doing all this on a day that should’ve been focused on studying—and then I even wrote this thread about it.
The frustrating part is, I only get three days a week—Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday—when my mom’s working and I can have uninterrupted time to stim and watch videos. Today wasn’t one of those days, and I feel like I wasted it on something that didn’t need to happen right now.
