I wish I had a dog.
Although it's kind of fucked up if you think about it, we basically enslaved an entire species and perverted their entire bloodline to make them look like human babies just because LOL, I guess that was in return for protection from death, although did they need that? Pack hunting didn't seem to be killing the wolves. I guess when I look at dogs I'm torn between wanting to like them because of the neoteny and for the same reason being repulsed by them because they are just a genetic engineering experiment.

My neighbor's pitbull killed one of the kitties outside my garden. The same pitbull also tried to kill one of my senior cats who never dared to touch a bird (unlike my female cat who, unfortunately, killed one and brought it back as a gift to me). I found the severed body of the kitten next to the neighbor's metal fence.
