Anyone will grow out of being part of an edgy community, it gets boring after a while and you'll be annoyed by the lack of quality posts. You gain nothing from it besides meeting people that are similar to you, they can even cure the feeling of loneliness, which is a great part about It. Nevertheless, as we grow older the chance of becoming a sexually attractive male reduces successively, but I feel like I learn to accept it.
I'm currently not a NEET but I feel like I might be one in the future due to my inability to behave like a normie. My quiet, weird and boring personality and my social awkwardness makes it impossible to have good relations with colleagues and even more impossible to climb the work hierarchy. Always earning like 2000 even as a 50 year old is kinda depressing tbh. For my 20's it's obviously fine though.

NEETdom: idk man, I've been NEET for a large portion of my life: 20 - 26, then 40hr/week for 4 years until 30, then NEET from 30 to present. I'm 31 now, so that's 7 years in total. I'm currently without a driver license and live with my family as well. It's basically the holy trifecta of:

1. live at home while old af
2. no driver license let alone a car
3. NEET

I feel much better when I'm NEET: go to bed when I want, wake up when I want and generally do what I want minus a few obligations from the social system that currently supports me. The only thing that bothers me is the sharp decrease in social status and obviously the subpar income. I have a fairly bleak outlook on the future as well which is kinda sad.

Inceldom: even though my NEETdom and effects of it (i.e. living at home) aren't exactly hits with the ladies, I'm not incel, so can't really comment on this.

I will stay in as long as I can but I could see myself getting some sort of a job someday if I really had to. I hope I will just be able to inherit my parent's house when they die and never have to really get a job. School was so monotonous and boring... I actually like just playing video games all day and I don't really pine for a gf either anyway. I guess the only real motivation to escape NEETdom/inceldom is it just gets sadder and sadder being a virgin gamer living with your parents the older you get, and I'll be in my 30s soon. Maybe being a 40 year old incelneet someday won't be so bad though. Steve Carrel's character in that movie seemed like he was having fun.
