Not really, non-alcoholic malt drinks taste worse imo. Still, I believe beer is acquired taste. At first you may not like it, try to drink light beers or white beers at the beginning. After some time you develop a taste similar to coffee.

Beer isnt usually yummy. Old beer is stinky on homeless people clothes and breath.
I wouldn't say it tastes bad. Some people like it. Its disgusting if you let it go flat
