My friend was venting to me about this girl. A few hours later he sent screenshots of him and her texting and said "we text everyday bro"

This girl is pretty important to me, and it's supposedly the same way for her (I didn't believe her, and this just confirmed my beliefs) , as she stated multiple times, but she barely texts me, like twice a week if im lucky, that too lasts like a few minutes max. Apparently they text for hours.

Why did this Dalit feel the need to tell me this? To make me feel worse? What kind of pleasure did he get from me knowing this?

Yeah, she was probably lying. But she used me when she needed me, back when she was "lonely", she used to text me a lot, but now that I think about it, I was ALWAYS replaceable, always.
