Dubbed is Superior to Subbed Anime

I cannot stand how whiny Japanese voice actors are, and how childish every girl seems to sound. Even the men in anime sound like girls (wtf is that Japanese goku voice)

Seriously in an action anime, subtitles are too distracting. I dont get the point of watching anime in a language you dont even understand.

The CowBoy Bebop Dub is way better than the sub.

I don't care if it sounds more "accurate" in Japanese, it doesn't change the fact that it sounds stupid AF.

To be more specific there, what I hate the most are characters which are considered "cute". The Japanese voice actors put up such a high pitched voice that it's so unbearable to watch.. Chopper from One Piece for example or generally other animals in Anime which are able to talk and are so kawaii

Differs per language. Arabic dubs are almost always top tier and Chinese ones are meh. English ones are only villified because some linguistic differences are hard to bridge without it sounding awkward

Thats why it needs to be localised otherwise it just sounds weird and awkward like how Naruto calls talented people a "genius" which is just flat out wrong.

Can't happen with the kind of budgets they work with. Sometimes they're so low the actors aren't even paid. Non-english dubs sound even more rough. Here's DBZ in Cantonese

English dubs have more breathing room because of a bigger market but their budgets are tiny so the localisation efforts are almost always sloppy

Yea and the weirdly specific awkward translation is charming after a while. Shits unintentionally funny.

I'm too used to subtitles to watch dubbed now.
Also watching dubbed can be done while multitasking, while watching with subtitles you need to fully focus on the show
I prefer fully focusing on the show for the immersion

I always prefered the dub. Sub can be cute however I don't want to read the bottom of the screen constantly plus I feel less of a connection to the characters. The dub has always been more immersive and easier to watch for me.

Depends on the content too. Some anime just make more sense to be watched subbed and others dubbed.

Vinland saga doesn't work well subbed, i do wish they got actual English voice actors instead of Americans though

How should I know if I never listened to it? I am German by the way so why I would I go look for it when a German one exists that is probably better or just as good? I also highly doubt the English voices sound better than the Japanese ones.
