Beginning
Two times a Year, Employment Offices send a bunch of Neets to Employ-ability Courses. They do this because the sent Neets are temporarily seen as employed on Governmental records. It makes the Employment Office look good to the Government.
Middle
I enter the Community service hall. There I am, walls flanked side to side with fellow Neets. (None of I which I recognize from my Employment Office) Lessons include: How to get in to work on time; How to do well at interviews and CV writing. That's what we were supposed to be (re-)learning anyway. My Teacher was having none of that business, oh no, instead he wanted us to all learn about... Him self!
This guy used to be friends with English celebrity 'Lenny Henry'. This guy used to be a half a millionaire. This guy used to be a Businessman. This guy lost a family member due to illness. This guy lost a lot of Money. This guy almost killed himself. This guy is a Christian. This guy is hell-a depressed.
Every week day Morning, us Neets had to go to this Community Hall, to hear about this guy's life story, for a whole Month.
End
Snow falls, us Neets turn up regardless.
"He's not here" "He's not here" "Do we go?"
Amazingly, for the last lesson, the Teacher doesn't turn up. 'Just go then!' I hear you say to yourself... and half the group do to, the other half (Me included) rebuttal with
"The Employment Office would sanction us all" This line of argument quells any civil unrest among us.
