Admittedly I know next to nothing about the occult or esoteric knowledge in general but it keeps cropping up when I'm reading. Stuff like astral projection, remote viewing, magick. Do you believe there to be any validity in esoteric knowledge? There are lots of fringe theories that interest me like bioelectricity, quantum consciousness, electric universe theory, archons, 4th dimensional entities and the like and there are some I believe more than others but most I view as sci-fi ARGs. I know a lot of people on this forum participate in fringe beliefs like astral projection. I'm genuinely curious as to if any of you hold such beliefs and what your line of reasoning is, have you witnessed proof of the supernatural? How does it change the way you live your life?

The way I encountered non-schizo occultists was rather standard

Russian sophomore STEMcels are forced to have a two-semester course of philosophy, and while I already read up on stuff like Nietzsche and was exposed to Scandinavian black metal (an example below)


I did not actually read Plato or anything like that yet. I did not even read Greek tragedies. I'm a STEMcel, not a literature girl.

So I read up on Plato and was presented with the fact he doesn't consider material world to be real enough. And Plato is like the second most famous philosopher. After that, it wasn't hard to figure out that something's fucky.

Even a bigger breakthrough was outside of the curriculum as I was reading Sigmund Freud (a pretty standard thing to read) and then his pupil Carl Jung.

This duo is famous in Anglo world as well and here's a film with Kira Nightley about them


Carl Jung came up with an idea to heal some of his neurotic patients, upper class European burghers, by offering them "religious literature". A lo and behold, the crazie gets healed. Maybe he joins Catholic Church later and his life is good.

remote viewing is a modification of astral projection so you only project over what you need to gather information. If you look it up on youtube you'll probably see these schizos known as farsight institute, just ignore them. They don't follow standard protocol that exists in the field which is robust as something like biological studies. Best proof for remote viewing is current applications in investment strategy (ex. crypto viewing), archeology, by the millitary and police, etc.
magick is as real as alchemy under Jung's view.

Quantum Conciousness, which is a subsect of the Copenhagen Interpreation in physics is just mainstream enough you can get support if you use euphemisms.
archons and 4th dimensional entities are real enough you don't want to fuck around or play games with them. How much more i'm unsure. Bioelectricity, specifically it's correlation to healing is well established.

there are a lot of gay meta-analysis and meta analysis of meta analysis wars ongoing in the field since the 1870s. The reason people don't think these things exist can be traced back to a retard called David Hume who created a false dichotomy between so called "natural" and "supernatural", and said category b can always be explained through category a. This agrument obviously falls flat on its face but it's general consensus today because it shifts the argument from a well observed phenomena needing to be disproven to it needing to be proven - "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence". Helped by the fact the decline in people's general expierence of the "supernatural" coincides with the advancement of rationality and technological progress. The book Phantasms of the Living (1886) shows at that point it was as common as not for someone to be informed by supernatural means when someone they knew unexpectedly died. This kind of capacity is both made redundant with more advanced communication technology and is suppressed by EMF radiation and dietary factors such as the overactivation of glutamate in the brain via MSG consumption. Generally modern people with an aptitude in these fields channel their energy into art instead because it's socially accepted enough to not land them in the ward (the belief in these proven phenomena being stigmatized to the extent it's used as a symptom in the DSM)

It's pretty much demon induced psychosis, you have to carry out specific rituals to even get to that state which just props you up to be a vessel for demons.
