Or you could just buy a PC and emulate whichever console of your choosing. PC is superior in every way. The only thing that's better about a console is the price but you can do so much more with a PC than with a console.

Try playing out of your bed far away with your PC. Tried Steam Big Picture mode for months, it's a pile of shit. Controllers won't always connect wirelessly and have to be reconnected every time you restart your PC. Games opening minimised. Wireless K+M not functioning properly. Games having half-assed controller support.

There is a reason why I gave up on my huge Steam library. I hate playing at a desk. And console works just fine.

I guess in your situation having a console would be the better choice. But people who share your preferences would be quite rare. I just couldn't imagine using a controller for every game I play, especially FPS games.

I don't think so, I think it's pretty much universal that you play PC at your desk and a console on your TV. There are some exceptions though, people who play console on a monitor or people who play PC on a tv.

I would never use a console at my desk, might as well use a PC then.

Yeah, I know, but if RetroArch adds support for other console emulators such as RPSC3 for PS3 and Yuzu for Switch. Should theoretically be possible.

PS3 is a fucking nightmare to emulate... but I see your point..
There's a chance ngl... but imo It's very slim.
With that being said, Series S mogs the PS5 really hard... all the supported emulators run great and you can also play the latest games for $299.
That's a no brainer!

I think you misunderstood. What I was trying to say was someone who doesn't want to use a PC solely because they can't sit at a desk to game would be quite rare.
