Yeah this place is a shithole, you cant even go for a walk outside or enjoy the outdoors unlike other countries. Everything here is just concrete roads, strip malls, & traffic. Always be thankful for what you have back home, as the grass is rarely ever greener on the other side.
What is preventing you from utilizing that to get a decent job or internship? maybe you can get in touch your community to assist you with getting an opportunity? many companies prefer hiring immigrants so that might work out in your favor.
my father sent me to an engineering college and i dropped out on the second year. American college education is very hard.From that day onwards he despised me.Seing me as an absolute trash.

Do you think people from your community could possibly assist you or maybe take some engineering courses? you dont have to go through 6 years of college for a decent career in engineering or construction.
the whole smart asian or indian is a stereotype.Ive seen so many dumb east Asian and south asians.Many of indian americans here are born and brought up here so they cppuld catch up with norms,culture and sytem of america.Also they are very selfish too.They will treat me like an outcast becuase iam from straight from india and i do0nt have the same culture as they do.
I agree, many of them are held up to unrealistic standards being asian and all that. The culture here really boils down to rote memorization rather than actual skill and innovation, anyone can follow written directions.
We tend to have fucked up social & people skills, but our ability to overachieve and overwork ourselves is what contributes to our "success". The media & movies will have you believe that everyone of us are wealthy engineers & scientists, which couldn't be further from the truth.
A lot of ones I encounter tend to be very proud of their country & culture back home, although like most immigrants I feel that is very superficial.
Yeah most of them will shove you down for an ounce of foreign "validation", self respect & basic dignity is very uncommon amongst us. Funny because many of these same people will be quick to accuse others of "white worshipping" and whatnot.
