GTA IV is underrated

this game gets a lot of shit but I think it’s my favorite gta after San andreas

i love the dark and gritty atmosphere and story telling. the multiplayer was great too, I remember flying to the Statue of Liberty and doing the thing where you go inside of it and see it’s heart

gta v is too satirical and the multiplayer turned into saints row

back in my day I remember the character creation was shit, the Bugatti was the best car in the game, and the tank was OP for griefing

that shit was back in like 2014

good times ngl

i remember coming home from school and hopping on the 360 to play that shit

I wouldn't call it underrated when it's one of the most highly acclaimed open world games ever

All of the reviews praise it for the story and main character. Most gta games are cartoony but 4 is like an oscarbait movie

Similar thing with RDR2. It's a good game but it gets a ton of acclaim and brownie points for a movie like campaign

I've replayed it a couple of times over the years, still holds up and is imho still the best open-world game to date. No other game comes even close to the atmosphere IV has achieved, that early 2000s New York vibe, just beautiful and unique in his one way.
