Been going to the gym and I feel good when I'm done but while inside I get mogged by damn near everyone (except the fatties).
I was doing some leg exercises and some chick approached me and asked if I need any pointers I said "yeah. Am I doing it wrong?" She said yeah and she showed me the proper way to do it. She asked me if I come here often and I told her I just started and what days I'm going to go. While we're talking some macho guy intervened and start talking to both of us. I kind of forgot what it was about but he started talking and eventually started talking to exclusively just her of course. I saw him I just ignored it and finished my set and awkwardly walked away. I knew he was going to end up trying to flirt with her because she was attractive and young like upper twenties early thirties. Cute with glasses and an almost perfect ass. Not there to pick up girls or anything. Not that I even can. I'm just there look and feel better about myself.

That's life, women tend to line up at the finish line while the rest of the men race to get there. I remember when I first stepped into a gym, morbidly obese, neckbeard, acne, I was hyper self-aware of being mogged as well and embarrassed that someone might make a remark on my physique. That's why I had to go though, because I didn't want to think like that for much longer, to live with the shame of being obese and coping over it. I used to get made fun of for my appearance, now it looks like I might become an unironic model. I used to have women make fun of me, now I have women that simp after me. What changed was that I got fit and I think I became less anxious and depressed as a result of that. Try not to take situations like this personally, it's all about personal development and growth. 60 mins working out, 2-3x a week, eating a good diet, that's all you need, by the end of this year you'll look significantly better and be more confident, as a result of your higher resting T.

Got a weight bench barbell and dumbbells at home but I don't know why I prefer going to the gym. It's the wide variety of machines that I love about it.

Thanks that's the goal, if I keep this up there are tons of benefits I'll gain from it. Years ago I went for like 2 months straight and my confidence was super high I started growing a little beard at 27 finally my depression was significantly lower and overall I felt good. I'm going to try my best to keep this going.
