Have you done something or acted a certain way to fit in?

I usually do such things when I first try something new like joining a community or social group. But then I slowly stop caring and revert to my normal self, for example when I first joined the manosphere my post tended to be more of your typical incel cringe posting but then I got bored of it and here we are.

Yes. For one it was very common to be bullied in hs for wearing cheap clothes, i never really had an eye for fashion so i just wore same brands other people wore. And in general there are certain things i will only reveal to other people especially at work or school. I didn't make much of an effort to fit in at my last job and remained an outcast. It's annoying doing this a lot of the time but otherwise you're likely to cause yourself even more problems.

In online circles I usually observe since it’s hard to find a footing in these types of spaces, most have their own groups and inside jokes. Irl I don’t need to fit in since most people act, speak, and dress like me anyways.
