Life is like a videogame, if you make poor choices you end up getting locked up on a bad ending. I know many people who have hit a dead end:
-They have an extremely time consuming dead end job, since they're working all the time, they don't have the time to improve their situation and get a better job.
-They can't afford anything becuase of their low wages, they can't afford a college education which could help them get a better job, they can't even afford good shoes.
-The only thing left for them to do is keep working the same wage slavery job until the day they die, having accomplish nothing in life.
And yet, so many of them are happy. I know this lady who is currently on a dead end, although she probably wouldn't think of it that way, and yet she's way happier than me, she's a devout christian and she thinks God has a plan for her. She's always smiling and overall always has a positive attitude. I wish I could delusionmaxx like her and view my life as happy no matter wha shitty situation am in. Maybe I should chritianmaxx too.

It doesn't really end though. Even from a materialist standpoint that person working hard will have an affect that ripples outward to the lives of countless people they'll never meet.

In the future, there will probably be Internet Archaeologists who stumble across this forum and derive benefit from studying the lives of people who've rejected the system. And some seemingly inconsequential meme about a frog (pepe) is going to be taught in holographic textbooks because of it's cultural influence.

That being said, I think the definition of a bad ending for any person is leading a life of regret.

Basically disregarding their internal guidance system to fit a mold in order to appease their paranoid primate brain and receive external approval.

It isn't so much about outcomes. That's not really relevant to leading a life without regret. It's about maintaining your integrity and not allowing the fires of the forge to bend you in a way you don't want, even if it means you break and shatter in obscurity and mediocrity.

That's basically to say even if you hit what is generally perceived as a bad outcome (bad end) where you lose control of your avatar and have to leave this world for a time; it isn't bad so long as the integrity of your being remains high and that will mean you have won.

Why is that a win? Because an inner vision cannot be fulfilled without integrity. To have integrity in this life is to prepare yourself to fulfill it either later on, or in another life.

I think hitting a dead end is more about your posibilities and your situation. What can you do? is your situation good? Can you improve it? If you answer to both of those is no then it's over.

It depends on one's view of life. If it's from materialist lenses with pain avoidance and pleasure promotion, while believing in the subjective opinions of imperfect beings to judge your fate rather than yourself (even in their more "logical" manifestations like statistics), than whether it's a good end or bad end will be up to the whims of those around you and the stimuli received from your senses. And it will likely lean negative, because it's rare that the voice of the flesh and masses aligns with one's inner voice.

If one however understands that the integrity of their being is directly correlated to the manifestation of their dream reality than the attachment to outcomes must cease in order for the good end to be brought about. Fixating on outcomes and for things to go our way in the moment, rather than taking everything in stride and unceasing fluidity like water downstream, means we're still attached to our lesser self that perceives lack and external validation. Wealth cannot emerge from a consciousness that believes it is impoverished. Likewise a being that truly believes it is over cannot have a good ending.
