It’s easy to zone out when drawing
there's a great difference between working on something, creative or otherwise, because of an inner necessity, as opposed to doing it for the sake of being productive and feeling accomplished. contrary to popular belief the greatest artists, or great minds in general are usually not the most ambitious in their practice, nor are they the ones who try and force out as many productions as possible. the act of drawing is really just the last step in the creative process, and you should take as much time as possible lost in daydreams since they are much more important

You have to draw stuff that you're excited about drawing at first.
Then once you've got a positive dopaminergic association in your mind you can start drawing things that you might find less interesting like figure and light studies. It's why every artist starts out drawing stuff that's more attuned to their other hobbies.

Usually I focus on a minimal task that I KNOW I can finish that day or within a 1 hour timeframe tops. I hated going to the gym because of judgment on my appearance or someone critiquing my workout form. I like to ramble to myself to keep my mind occupied. I talk to myself a lot....

Well I’m good at daydreaming but i think it’s a waste if I’m not sharing it with others and potentially mogging other works.

And drawing demands a base skill level I don’t have

i understand the impulse, but i think true creativity is incompatible with a desire to be productive. things should come out of nowhere in random bursts energy just like nature in general

this i cant argue with, skill is a prerequisite for anything. but sharpening your skills is just unconscious training

I think you'll stay focus as long as you practice it. meditation can help you, or going for a walk. If you spend too much time browsing the internet, consider taking some breaks from it (i say this but im addicted myself. take care of yourself in that aspect). And remember that it takes a little bit of time and effort until you accomplish this type of goal, so keep working.

Bonus: if you want good resources to learn how to draw, access 4chan's /ic/ Big Sticky (the one which is displayed with the text of "One-Stop Beginners' Guide"): https://boards.4chan.org/ic/thread/1579290

This is a drawing i just made with my mouse on a chan. Pretty messy but i hope this encourage you somehow.
(this doesnt represent what i learned with the Big Sticky nor my abilities when drawing with a pencil. i just liked the energy i passed, thats why i hope it encourage you)

Not having anhedonia in the first place, which is kind of contradictory since anhedonia cannot be resolved due to this uncharted territory that is for science. Most papers are unconclusive on the true causes of anhedonia on AD/AP induced cases and I don't think anyone will ever be able to explain the true mechanisms of AD-induced anhedonia: APs and ADs are able to cause permanent anhedonia in most drug users even if the individual in question ceases drug intake.
