How many people here grew up being infantilized?

Did your parents/guardians let you do things for yourself, or did they hover around you and barge in & just do things for you? When you asked questions, were you treated like you were stupid? Was every minor decision you made second guessed?

I was given a lot of freedom by my parents, mostly my mum but my dad was still very lenient compared to other peoples dads. Never really given any responsibility either. Mostly left to my own devices to play outside or play on xbox. I don't think I was infantilised but still ended up a manchild
