I've only recently noticed that TV and movies are actively pedalling female infidelity.

I guess I am a little slow, so yeah in b4 "water is wet", but it isn't just your run off the mill Hollywood violence, drugs, guns and nudity.

The studios and scriptwriters are purposefully condoning, justifying and even encouraging extramarital affairs on the woman's part.

These are just 3 movies and shows released in 2024 that I've seen over the span of 2-3 months and it gave me a realisation.
( one of them is a fucking horror film, sex should be irrelevant)

...this goes beyond just the standard social engineering of inserting feminism or LGBT or BMWF propaganda into films.

The storyline always (either implicitly or explicitly) makes the adulteress righteous and vindicated in her decision, ie. she is never held to account.
The husband is always portrayed as either weak, abusive or the wife was simply unhappy and therefore was right to fuck another dude.
It always ends with the cuckold forgiving her and reconciling or parting amicably as if that should be the norm.

Some shows that follow these themes i've come across in previous years:

It was always around but it was probably one in maybe 40 or 50 films.
Today its like its one in 3.
And it gets more and more brazen.

I could understand if it was just some cuck fetish thing but the story always seems to only end one way as if they are trying to get a message across. It is also very one-sided. When men do it, the character is usually devastated, filled with regret and usually gets his comeuppance. Not the other way round in fiction it seems.

Fuck it's just so shady and sinister ... I think maybe I'm just going crazy its so sus

Titanic was pretty mild tbh

1. She wasn't married to the guy
2. She never wanted to marry the guy
3. She wasn't even really on board with doing it for the money...it was her mom's idea.

The shows I just listed portray couples who willingly got married to be in an LTR and quite a number are with children. Really fucked up shit.

They want women to be whores so that they spend their youth having ONS instead of finding a permanent partner with whom they can form a family, to lower birth rates and to destroy any values people have and make them brainless rootless hedonists. I hate the fucking tribe men and the WASPS that put them in power so much

It's so fucking shady. I don't like to blame everything on the small hat guys but Istg sometimes it just leads back to them

But its still pretty mild compared to the kind of movies they are churning out these days.

In titanic she wouldn't have married her husband if Leo's character survived since she "truly loved him" and had to settle for her hubby. It's basically a woman settling for the betabux because chad wouldn't marry.

Sad but not terrible.

The kind of stuff they are producing portray women in committed relationships and families blowing it all up for chad and it's shown to be an empowering and virtues thing.

Yikes.

the bad guy in hallmark movies is a boyfriend who is like "uh no babe i cant drop everything + leave work this weekend im about to close a deal for ten million dollars that will set us up for life" and the good guy is a guy who is just standing there when she gets to her hometown

the “bad guys” in hallmark movies end up always being the most respectful men ever.

because they will find out their girlfriend of 3 years (that they were about to propose to) went off to a random farm in minnesota, hours away from were the two of them built a life together, and she decided to just… stay there without even consulting him.

and then he decides to take a trip to make sure she’s okay, because this is generally alarming behavior, and then sees that she literally fell in love with her ex within one (1) week- and he wasn’t there, but you can TELL that they’ve made out a couple times.

and then she just strings him along for a few days, until fucking christmas eve, when she just breaks up with him and is like “i know we used to have the same values, but i’ve never loved you. mark makes me happier than you ever did. and you ONLY care about work, whereas i like christmas and fun, like a Good Person.”

and then, after finding out his entire relationship was a lie and he had his life turned upside down in a week and he got dumped on christmas, this guy’s just like “ok yeah that makes sense. i only wish you the best of happiness with mark. i hope you guys build a great life together in christmastreefarmville. thank you for everything.”
