i accepted being short in the past but being short as an adult is way worse than being short as a kid

When i socialized with kids from my school even 2 grades younger, a lot would say im short cuz i was similar height to a lot of them. I always knew i was short but it didn't bug me bcuz i wasn't attracted to girls yet and i was more athletic than a lot of taller kids. then puberty hit and i started caring and im done now. ye
