I am starting to like romantic anime

And increased after i watched many other animes and aot

(I don't post about all animes i watch)


It is worsening my depression very much

Theres not much to do in my life


It has been worsening
I have always been depressed
Anime seems to just speed it up

i also kind of enjoy it , watching anime is my favourite thing to do

i was on a break from anime from 2 years i started watching again around one month ago

I first started to watch anime in lockdown watched it for like 6-8 months

I was then accused of watching sexual animes by my older sister (i used to watch anime on youtube and she used part 5 jojo and how heavy are the dumbbells you lift? as proof in front of my mother)

Then i was restricted

And for me unrestricted i had show my mother proof that she made it sound sound like i was doing wrong things

I will be even more depressed if i stop so I cant

some indie games should be low powered. im playing a few myself. mainstream games nowadays yes take alot to run. im playing an anime dating sim and also have some visual novels. but only if you are interested in that sort of thing. overall i think indie games are better anyways.

I can't watch anything thats puts me under suspicion of watching nsfw things so anime dating sim is out of the question

Yea they're better cause first person, not really cucked that way.
But i don't want what somebody else made for me, i want my own custom experience. Gonna make my own VN with my own characters with ai gen dialogue tbh.

Eratoho and all other era games are excellent in that regard, especially that you seem to be familiar with Gensokyo.

I had a period of watching romance and shoujo during my teen years. Very blackpilling. The love interest is always an unusually tall prettyboy that does things that would get a normal man locked up in prison (although one of my favourite romance anime 'Lovely★Complex' was a nice deviation from that with a tall girl and short guy). Usui from Kaichou wa Maid Sama is one example; although that anime has a fun premise regardless of shoujoisms - that guy was very morally dubious!

SillyTavern has a visual novel mode or there's RisuAI. The best thing about these clients are that you just type in the personality and scenario so it's only really limited by imagination. Using horde mode you can request for large models to be hosted off helper PCs or if you have a good GPU you can self-host an AI model. Some of them are really adept at creating long VN-like experiences like the Anthropic models or the recent Mistral NeMo 12B (or derivatives fine-tuned for prose).
