I don't have to prove that I am interesting.
I don't have to prove that I am smart.
I don't have to prove that I am attractive.
I don't owe anyone proof of anything. Thinking like this is liberating, it makes it so that it doesn't matter if others think I am a retard or if they think I am ugly, they don't matter. All that matters to me now is having an easy life. I don't want no accomlishments, just being able to live comfy.

When people hate you the story ends there and there is nothing you can do about it, fighting first impressions is just stupid.

“Knowing someone” takes milliseconds, all you need is a face. If you need to be meticulous, or if it's a semi-anonymous setting, semiotic fingerprinting would add maybe a full second on top of that (most of it dedicated to mining for context).

But yeah, face being the main factor on whether people like you or not is another reason why I've decided to live only for myself.
But the main reason is that I have accepted the fact that I am lazy and I would never want to put in the work required for others to accept me or give me praise. So I'll live without it.

Incels love this truism a lot but what undergirds this sentiment is the same old background misandry. [Intended entendre] men hate men more than women; they’re violent to those below and slavish to those above them; when they complain about “the female nature” the subtext is usually that other men, who are inherently revolting, imprint themselves onto women.
