i keep embarrassing myself in my group chats

All of the active members (basically those who read and reply) are NT. I keep saying something stupid to maintain the lighthearted energy, but they leave me on read most of the time, and i feel like a loser when that happens.

I just want to be as quiet as a bug, but even that seems impossible. any tips?

don't take the content of what you said too seriously, because if one of those active members sent the same thing as you did the response would be totally different. Basically the same as using the wrong pickup lines

they were my classmates too. i was their valedictorian both elementary and high school, but even those things didnt save me from my obnoxious communication patterns. i feel like the only solution for me is to leave the group chats, but even in public, i do the same things that lead to 'side-eyes'

if they are classmates but not friends and you're out of high school/dont go to anything with them i'd dip

it's funny since i just asked them to add me back. i thought that i wanted to reconnect but i remembered how unwanted my comments/personality were. i guess it's better to spam posts here than reattempting to integrate into the socially adept world
