Very much so, to go into some details about my experience, I was 9 years old and my father during eid Al adha decided to take me to watch animals get slaughtered publicly, we go down and there's like a fucking crowd of people there we watch a bunch of sheep get beheaded with a dull knife, some of them trying to run away even after their throats were slit, they then brought a cow, it was trying to run away and it had to have 7 or 8 dudes restraining it. It ended up being slaughtered the most violently.. some of the blood even splattered to my knee.
