I tried to watch House of Card‘s first episode yesterday

Because I wanna mentally get into the mindset to become a politician and use their scheming tactics. Apparently the show is a good representation of what it is like to be a politician but I just find series so boring compared to anime so I stopped after like 30 minutes.

Did any of you guys watch that show and enjoy it? I just see people mentioning season 6 is complete garbage. I‘m not gonna waste my time because it has 72 episodes and it‘s not guaranteed to make me learn something I can apply myself.

I might change my mind and get back into it when I get bored and play a phone game while it is playing in the background on my TV.

I watched it for entertainment. I don't believe you can learn anything from the show. You don't become a man of high value, a mover and a shaker of you community, by watching fucking TV. No, you actually have to do something such as build a supporting community around you.

That's why you need to work on your image. You need to work on expanding your network. You have to work on getting your ideas out there, and having enough people agree with you so much that they would want to give you their precious vote.

No. There are lots of good-looking people who run but never get elected. This 'blackpill' nonsense just doesn't work in real life. It's kind of sad that you expect to get something out of life without putting in the work.

Putting in work is just some stupid phrase. Only tall guys got elected as president. In the past they weren’t so tall maybe but definitely taller than other men compared to them.

Women are swooning over Justin Trudeau, if he was ugly he probably would have never become Canada‘s head of the state.

People just expect politicians to be ugly since good looking people can use their looks more in other industries that aren’t as boring as politics.

This is why many young men going into politics is cringe. They're thinking about political strategies before they have any support. You can read that stuff all day, but it won't get you elected if you don't have any supporters and can't get any votes.

Nope, my mom has a friend and her husband is apparently a politician that is in the party I‘d want to join anyway. I would have to start from there.

That would make you an assistant. Your value to the party is measured in votes and the amount of money you can raise from donors. You better start working on that rather than reading political theory or watching TV dramas like House of Cards. Nobody likes a leech.
