We will watch the new James Bond movie together.

I'm a bit nervous because I usually watch all movies alone sitting in a dark room in front of my computer. Last time I was at the movies was for "Batman The Dark Knight" in 2008. Since then I found it too embarassing to go to the movies alone. Maybe I still care too much about what other people think of me, yes I know it sucks. My parents are the only people left in my life, I have no one else.:feelsbad: We still have a good relationship so might as well spend some time with them right?

What about you? Do you always go to the movies alone or just stay in your room watch them there?

I don't go to cinema. First and last time I went there was to watch Lord of the rings return of the king with my brother.
I am stingy about spending money so if I can download something for free I will.

Couldn't go by myself even if I wanted, family used to take advantage of my young vulnerable self state to get me to go and I am not allowed to leave the house without supervision anyway by law as of present, it's fuckking over

Damn that sounds fucked up, I'm really sorry to hear that. I don't know your whole life story and current situation but I read in one thread that you are in a care home right now, is that right? I'm just a wreck these days, in my late twenties, part time jobber with shitty pay, only got my parents, no friends, no gf and the future looks very bleak. I hope things get better for you.

At least some people understand, the normies irl certainly don't, constant gasslighting and blaming and their pathological bs, it seems only allusive strangers on the Internet are the most sane and those in mental wards

That's good you're doing that. I actually saw The Dark Knight too and then The Dark Knight Rises with my father.
Yeah I go to the cinema alone. It's a good cope when you get used to it, but then, that's in a city.
I plan to go next week to watch the Dune movie.
Enjoy it man.

Yes, that's the thing you gotta get used to it. I live in a very small town and because of my avoidant lone wolf nature and anxiety, I'm constantly worried about encountering former classmates from my school days who also still live here. That's why I rather stay at home, I don't need to crash into those normie npcs with their annoying questions. Thanks, have fun with Dune aswell. :feelsok:

Ah, true, I wouldn’t do it so often in my hometown but have in the past.

In the city, I used to make a day out of it and go after an escort booking or happy ending massage, then some booze and video games in the evening.

Cheers man, I’ve got high expectations for Dune.

Feels embarrassing going alone but I still do. I went alone for the Dragon ball super Broly movie and the My hero academia movie. I see friends and feel like people are mocking me for being alone. But then again I could be paranoid.

Before the pandemic I would go to the cinema alone when ever there was a movie I wanted to desperately see however that was rare due to the fact most movies are filth.

I used to be embarrassed but as a based old neetcel I dont even think about it. The trick is to show up late when the theater is running the trailers, wear a hat when you enter, then leave as soon as the movie is about to end, always sit toward the back of the theature. Park in the back of the theater to avoid any normies :feelscowboy:

...ok so we had a good time at the cinema. :feelscomfy:Of course there were the expected annoyances of kissing couples sitting in front of us and a black female 007 in the movie (amongst other forced wokeness and feminist agendas) but overall it was a good experience.
Unusual long Bond movie, not as good as Casino Royale or Skyfall imo but if you can ignore those annoying aspects it's worth watching.

I have been to the cinema 5 times in 14 years.

2007 - My parents brought me to see 'Mr beans holiday' as they were starting to notice that I was becoming an isolated truecel.

2008 - We went on a school field trip which included seeing 'What happens in Vegas'.

2012 - I saw Titanic 3D with my sister.

2019 - I saw Lion King on my own.

2019 - I saw Aladdin on my own.

I saw some famous movies in the cinema when I was young for example Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, Rugrats in Paris, Rugrats go wild, Shrek, Godzilla, Antz, Mighty Joe Young, Stuart Little 2.

I don't think I will ever return to the cinema, I do like cinemas but they just aren't a thing I feel comfortable doing alone. I have been to 20 concerts alone but sit down venues are a more awkward experience. When I saw Lion King a roastie commented saying "there's a man sitting by himself in that row". That annoyed me and it isn't worth the hassle especially since I found a streaming site now for movies.

Normies say it is important to be independent then when you do something alone they make fun of you.

going to the cinima is one of the best copes - if the movies were only not so retarded.... when I will go to Japan I will be lonely anyways I assume so I will probably spend a lot of time in venues like these killing time

It was quite the experience, I saw it in cinema too. Especially big battle scenes on that huge screen combined with those surround speakers...obviously night and day difference when watching on pc.
