It’s that I can’t understand how they are fine with so little free time. 40 hour work week is worse than it seems, let’s break it down.
Wake up 7.30am, leave 8am, work from 9-5pm, get home 6pm, sleep at 11pm.
That comes to 15.5 hours awake and only 5 hours of it was spent at home chilling and not doing labour or commuting to slave station. Actually more like 1 hour of free time as you need to maintain useless bullshit then deal with your wife and kids. The work hour is 40 hours per week but add in commute and it becomes 45 for some, 50 hours for others.
50 fucking hours. Not to mention you only get paid for 40 of those hours. This is what you’re expected to do from late teens to mid 60s every single fucking day, I don’t understand how people tolerate this. I will only do 15-25 hours a week and it better be close to where I live, no way I’m commuting an hour or more to work then doing the same to get home.
