I‘m considering getting a fake university degree and faking my CV to get a well paid job

The only problem is the background checks the companies I apply to might do.

I guess the smaller company the less likely it is they will do a proper background check.

If I want a high salary I‘ll have to apply at big companies anyway I suppose. Let‘s assume some are too lazy to do a thorough background check. I might still get found out later or I‘ll have to move.

Probably many hundred thousand others if not millions of people. In Germany a lot of politicians are exposed all the time that their CVs were fake but they still don‘t get fired.

I know. That‘s why I would claim to have something that isn‘t a STEM field. Some economics degree or some liberal arts bullshit.

also this is even implying you get selected, the brutal truth is having a degree isn't enough, that's only he first step, then you have to get selected, then interviewed

I know. That‘s why I would make my CV look flawless like I would have been to foreign universities and did internships at big companies. I just have no clue how to prevent them from calling and doing background checks.

I read somewhere that they only check in 30% of cases but I heard fake CVs became more common practice or that statistic is wrong to begin with. If I want a really good position I‘ll have to lie my ass off and basically become an actor and hope they don‘t call universities I pretended to go to or employers I claimed I previously worked for.
