I live with parents so it is my father buy it. Our current TV is from 2007, it isn't even HD as I think HD TV's were expensive back then. We also got a DVD Recorder back then and it was terrible, it was so unreliable compared to recording on VHS tape. You would record something and then the disc would get corrupted.
It will be interesting to see what some of my favourite movies are like in high quality.
We also have another TV in the house which is a small new one but it isn't full Full HD, it just upscales to HD although I remember watching one of my favourite movies 'Good Burger' on it and it was very good quality.
