There are natural neets like @Lain who are sort of main character like people, then theres hermits who enjoy being alone and gathering data or having special interests, reading etc. however for me I'm not really a natural neet, I'm only neet due to health/social issues more than anything but I don't enjoy this.

I think I'm going to enter the majority of people who end up leaving neetdom, perhaps by being a neet for 3.5 years (well technically 6) is likely more than most people ever do, but I just can't really live like this anymore. I want to do things given I'm not a natural neet and neet activities don't respond well for me.

I think that I'm not unique, most people leave neetdom. Otherwise society wouldn't function.

How are you planning on leaving neetdom? Schooling/work? I think one should do what is best for themselves, if a NEET life isn't for you, try out a normal lifestyle
Basically going to a vocational school to start out, after that I could either go to college or maybe just get a job. I consumed lots of saturated fat today and felt a jolt in energy, I think its the key out of my situation. The issue is that I don't want to be in this situation in my 30's, yes in 20's its not the end of the world but it gives me nightmares not being able to move at an older age.

I can still live a hybrid lifestyle though, its not like I'll be working or at the vocational school 24/7.
