Is grocery shopping really that big of a time consuming thing for people?

I just realized i have it extremely easy. I have basically lived across a grocery store for most of my life. Its a 1 minute walk.

Though i can imagine some americans here have to drive for a few miles to get to a store or just sit in city traffic, sounds extremely brutal.

I even heard about some people having to take the train to shop for groceries lmao.

Is it that bad for you or do you also live next to the store?

It takes me around 30 minutes to walk to the grocery store, 30 minutes to shop and 30 minutes to walk back. For this reason I only go once or twice a week but it's quite a trek lugging groceries back up a steep hill for 30 minutes, good workout tho.

it used to but then i started using those delivery services, the delivery fees are cheaper than going to the wallmart 30 minutes away from me, not factoring in time unless you rely a lot on 5 finger discount
