how do you buy things, how do u get any income
I get NEETbux and live alone. I didn't even have NEETbux from age 16-23.75. I literally didn't buy stuff, I was 108lbs from about 2016-2020, then I got a nerve injury and would beg my mum for takeaways, I had no items (still don't) and generally don't care much for material wealth besides actual funds because there's no point in buying good clothes or cars when you're an ugly autistic.

saying “true neet” makes it obvious you’re just tryna fit in here, ur acting like it’s something anyone wants to be or even something to be proud of

you don’t belong, rush out this forum
stfu retard, you have 12 comments on a 3 day old account.
I bet you have never been inside your house for more than a month, let alone a year.

You should read my fucking threads if you believe that I romanticize NEET, faggot

what does staying in my house for “more than a month” i assume you mean more than a month straight

what does this have to do with being a NEET, im a neet not a hikikomori you stupid bastard

based on what you said i’ve made 2 conclusions.
1. you either don’t know the real definition of NEET and what situation you have to be in to ‘qualify’ as one

2. youre pulling words out your ass just to sound smart

Wtf, i think it's absolutely fine. It's the best time to get some skill and hone it so you could find a job you're actually interested in. Or otherwise you'll end up with some shitty generic job and it'd be a dead end. I think that notion that you HAVE to have a job from such a young age (or even younger) is a bit extreme

If it’s a job job sure, nothing wrong with hving a part time job at that age though. If anything it’s beneficial

Word. Proper full-blown NEETs like myself don't use it as an identity, I don't even give af about wagies until they tell me how my nerve injury effects me or call me privileged for living in objective poverty.

It is very normal in today's world. There aren't many REAL job postings out there.

no money for college
Are you American? You can get paid a couple grand a year to go to college here if you know how to minmax benefits. I went to a self paced uni for a few months called Western Governors University, if you get a pell grant and use the AOTC tax credit, you get paid like $2000 a year. There's zero college debt this way and it's self paced, so you can decide to lay in bed playing vidya and nobody will seethe. You only have to finish 4 classes every 6 months to keep qualifying for education bux. You could finish 4 classes in a week or two and enjoy your educationbux and get your parents off your back since you're in school.

Are you gonna go to uni yourself? It's not so bad, WGU is the most NEET friendly uni possible, you can even transfer in a shit ton of credits you farm from a site called Sophia (unproctored tests, aka free college credit) and automatically be finished with a good chunk of the degree by default. It's not memey though, I have like $3000 worth of CompTIA certifications through them, I never finished my bachelors but I did land a job because of all the certs I earned which I proceeded to quit immediately in the field I studied for (cybersecurity).

I don't need or want to work but it's nice having a skill set that I could use to make money possibly. It was also pretty fun, there's no set schedules or some teacher bitching at you. You study on your own and you take an exam once you know the material. That's how it should be, really. No need for bloat.

Yeah, I'm in my senior year of high school and have not planned anything for my future yet. I do want to go to college, but I'm afraid of the student loans, debts, and all that junk. I'm really considering what you said though. But one thing I'm struggling with the most is picking a major because to be honest I have no fucking clue what I am doing.

You can guaranteed get a pell grant and the AOTC credit. The pell grant lasts 6 years so if you start a degree and swap after a year, you'd still qualify for tuition free college. If you have no idea what to pick, pick the one that you think you'd enjoy the most. For me, it was cybersecurity, you learn how to hack and get various certifications. Maybe you'd enjoy something else they have to offer. You can take the courses out of order, so I took the last year courses as soon as they'd let me, the bulk of the hacking/fun courses are there.
