You don't have the natural right to use the m-word unless you're a short man yourself.

I'm friends with a lot of short men. They have granted me the m-word pass.

I can say "what's up my manlet" or "damn you manlet" without offending short men.

Depends on who says it and in what context. The only irl person who ever calls me a manlet is a 6'4 friend from high school who I only ever speak to online. I feel much more degraded getting refused service for a red bull because I don't have ID, when girls laugh at me or when people say I'm half a man. I've seen the word manlet so much online that I just regard it as a throwaway lighthearted insult for the most part. I got called a shortish gimp the other day by one of two people walking by me in a subway. Maybe manlet would bother me in certain circumstances, I think most short related words do when it's from a stranger
