It pains me so much to see what has become of the Simpsons, the old staff would have never even thought about making such extreme one-sided political statements. It's basically just brainwash propaganda now, but they take beloved characters to make it even more of a brainwash for the viewer. I can literally hear the teeth of the writers clenching while watching a secene about trump or other stuff. Modern Simpsons is a sad and pathetic fanfic of the old seasons. And I haven't even scratched the surface of what is wrong with the show. I'd go as far as to say, that the best show and probably the best piece of art to have and will ever be created by human beings has become one the worst. If there was a media rating system that used kilometers. I'd have to walk from San Francisco all the way to Beijing to see the distance classic Simpsons has to modern Simpsons in terms of quality.

You can really see hollywood reveal its true colors as a weapon of propaganda. i dont know if everyone in hollywood is a paid activist or they just all believe in CNN and are really dumb.

the only Simpsons I enjoyed were the first few seasons. The flanderization happens to all long running shows, they milk it for money and the characters become brand caricatures. This is why shows should end if they can no longer maintain a good quality.

season 8 had some good episodes like the Frank Grimes one and the Mike Tyson boxing one. I haven't watched simpsons in a long time, so they may not be as good now to be honest.
