Junji ito's mangas are absolute dogshit

I don’t know why people like his stuff so much. Almost all posters in r/mangacollectors has junji ito's manga in their collection. I immediately downvote their post.

I've only read Uzumaki as a teenager but I remember it giving my vivid nightmares, particularly when they're falling into the mound of flesh/human bodies that reminds me of what I'd think of hell as like, towards the end of Uzumaki.

I like the realism of his art tbh.
But horror is actually extremely subjective.

Uzumaki has a good story. And Tomie is hot.

I wouldn't say they're dog shit. But I also wouldn't call them masterpieces.

ALSO

Horror is female genre. Men can't get anything out of it besides cheap thrills.

My biggest fears are frogs, people finding out I post on these sits and/or getting arrested for posting.

I liked Tomie. It was like a cosmic horror tbh.
