I'm aware of its territorial extent, my point is that we don't know the extent of such ideas, or even the religion itself. Just because people happened to fall under the borders of such an empire, doesn't necessarily mean they subscribed to the state religion or the practices suggested by it.

3 but 2 has alot of Zoroastrian faiths too. CK2 is now free but you pay for dlcs. Some people prefer CK2 but the amout of dlcs you need to make it competative is expensive and may as well get ck3. Its a hard to learn game. Its possible that you want to try ck2 just to get a head start on learning

The Best dlc is tour and tournaments because giving you stuff to do during peacetime is pretty important imo.
Ive heard that the best way to buy dlcs is buy whole chapter bundles. I did this for chapter 2 and preordered chapter 3 and I feel like this is the best way to do it.
