Here it is, a socioolgist talking about the growing NEET trend. He talks about various data findings, and tries to figure out why so many guys are "dropping out"

I did a little sum up of what is said up to min 44 (then it's the questions and answers):

Men without work, key finding

Min 0 to 2:52 intro

min 2:53 to 44

Over the last 50 years decline in the work rate for men.

Over 15 years, bad for women as well, but men for longer and larger scale.

7 millions between 25 and 54 are not working and not looking for a job. (in the states)

Economic background:

Since 2000, the USA, networth of household ++ (dip after 2008) but still going up and up and up.

Economy growing weakly and slowly since WW2 (slowest since ever).

Should be 25% higher.

Should have 11 millions more jobs.

Not a real recovery since 2008. More money, but less economy and less jobs available.

Kind of missing 6 millions jobs for prime age (25-54).

Rate of men without a job aged 25-54: going up and up, around 15% now, peaked at 20% after the 08 crisis. 1 in 6 no paid job in 2016. Scale of the depression.

Why haven’t we heard about it?

Influx of women in the workforce is positive. Did not replace men, supplemented rather. Also, because the collapse has been voluntary, exit is voluntary by men.

NILF Not In Labour Force. For every guy not working, 3 are not even looking for a job, aka, exited the labour force.

At any given age, younger generations are less in the work force. (for males)

Rich countries have seen a decline as well, but it seems to be a greater decline in the USA.

The economy has been growing faster, with a less generous welfare, so why is it a greater decline in

the USA?

The 7 millions not working: over representation of lower education (high school drop out), men who have never been married and have no children at home, african american over represented, less latino, and most of them born in the states.

Workforce participation for black men who are married is higher than for white who are married.

Married high school drop out is similar to single educated men.

Marriage counter act the uneducation.

Foreign drop out and educated native: high work participation.

Married and immigrants: more present in the work force.

What do the NILF do all day long?

Time use surveys are self reported, so probably some lies.

Not really living in society, religious activity, chartiable work, volunteering.

Not much child care or household care.

Not much cleaning or care around the house.

They do watch movies, television, internet, television. Almost a full time job of “watching”. 2100 hours per year of watching.

After a year, go back to the work force: mothers never idle. Their life is found valuable by employer.

Unemployed men watching their phones? Not so much.

Is there just less jobs? Kind of, a little. But other countries don’t have such bad results.

The NILF rate is not showing 08 crash, or work boom, just going higher and higher, does not seem to be influenced by the economy.

HS drop out from immigrants, not going higher, from american born, going higher.

Difference between the states, growing as well. States with high prospect next to states with lowest prospect. Not only the demand.

Disability programs: 3 out of 5 received help in 1985, more than 1 out of 2 in 2013

According to that guy: disability program are “funding” (helping) the flight from the work force.

No data about people convicted and work.

20 millions who had a felony conviction (mostly are men). 1 in 8 adult men not behind bars have a felony history. Unlike any number for rich society.

Work rate participation of these “felons”: No data.

No matter the ethnicity, era, or education: people with arrest, conviction, etc are always at a greater risk of being out of the labour force. One arrest greater than none, one conviction greater than one arrest, etc, the harsher the punishment the greater chance for the guy to be out of the work force.

Collapse is a social situation, with nothing good out of it.

Slower economy, wider wealth gap, welfare dependance, public debt, more pression of family, less civil participation amongst other things.

After 44 min, QA.

Important to note: neetbuxxing is not pushing people to work apparently (but what would these guys do without it?)
Breaking the law and getting caught leads to being neet (not sure cause effect here)
Being married or having kids make less likely to be a neet (cause effect again uncertain)

So basically it means that NEETs are becoming more common, and not just an "incel" thing.
NO ONE will say it.......
But we KNOW one of the reason guys are dropping out. Is because soyciety only cares about foids and caters to them in places like college.
Then there are also the issues of massive hypergamy and divorce rape.

The guy said that one reason why people don't talk about it is because women are doing better so the work force is not that bad.
However he did say that people who were married or had kids with or without marriage are less neet.
