I don't particularly like her as a character either but she's close to the personality and moral qualities I'd want in a girlfriend. She's loyal to a fault, almost constantly wants my attention, and is willing to do as I say if the situation calls for it. She plays her part well in the story, in my opinion. She's meant to come off as abrasive, to the point of Light thinking about getting rid of her.
